LET IT GLOW

I like to read and search out comments from various authors, whose words teach us from God's Word.
There are some good points that Rick Warren wrote in his book, "The Purpose Driven Life," in which he says:
God has given us a Life Message to share. When we became a believer, we also became God's messenger. God wants to speak to the world through us.

• Our testimony: the story of how we began a relationship with Jesus;
• Our life lessons: the most important lessons God has taught us.
• Our godly passions: the issues God shaped us to care about most.
• The Good News: the message of salvation.

The second life message is the truths that God has taught us from experiences with Him. They are lessons and insights we have learned about God, relationships, problems, temptations, and other aspects of life. Look at our key verse. It is sad when people do not learn from what happens to us. Israel was one who did not learn. We are wise to learn from the experiences of others, too.

Are we desiring to stay our course? It is good to review last year's experiences that came in our path.
Let's relax and allow Jesus to lead us through this day. He has everything under His control. Notice I said His control. Often we  say that He has it all under control. Think about it dear ones, the God who maintains this world, universe, and operations, has the power and wisdom to control events in our life. I can relax with those thoughts.

What do you want to be known for when this year is over?
Being God's servant-verse 38?
An obedient servant-verse 34?
Walking wholeheartedly in the path of God's commands -verses 34, 35?

Lord Jesus, teach me lessons so I know how to live pleasing to You.
Bless us all with Your Word of hope-we never walk alone.
