Psalm 68
Praise the LORD; praise God our Savior! For each day He carries us in His arms.
 Psalms 68:19 NLT

LET IT GLOW

When I was 5 years old, I had a disease which could damage my heart. So I was confined to the bed or couch for 6 months. Mom would carry me to bed at night and to the couch in the morning. I was so dependent upon her. Are you in need of someone carrying you today? Find the answer with us.

This is a praise song with a prayer of defeat for the enemies of God and His people. God shower His blessings and kindness upon His people.
How is God described here?
  • His name is LORD. (verse 4)
  • He is Father to the fatherless and defender of the widows. (verse 5)
  • He rides the clouds.
  • He places the lonely in families.
  • God sets the prisoners free and gives them joy. (verse 6)
  • He provides for His needy people.(verse 10)
  • He gives the word and a great army brings the good news. (verse 11)
  • Each day He carries us in His arms. (verse 19)
  • God saves and rescues us from death. (verse 20)
  • He is the source of Israel's life. (verse 26)
  • God is awesome in His sanctuary. (verse 35)
  • The God of Israel gives power and strength to His people.
Are you lonely, a prisoner to sin, in need of good news, desiring rescued from your situation, lacking joy, or desire more strength to face your giants? What are you in need of today? God gives, provides, saves. He is God, all-powerful.  Ask your Father. He loves us so much.

LET IT GROW

What are we to do?
  • Sing praises to God;
  • Rejoice in His presence;
  • Daily God loads us with benefits, so praise Him! (verse 19)
  • Tell everyone about His power. (verse 34)
  • Blessed be God!
How many benefits can we thank our Heavenly Father for giving to us this day?
Are you in need of being carried today for your troubles are too heavy for you to carry?
Lay them down at the cross of Jesus. He will carry them for you, dear one. Trust Him, He can do it.

LET IT GO
                     ... and rejoice in Jesus.
                                ... and praise my loving God!
                                ... and bless His holy name.
