Whose Wife?

Luke 20
For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.
Luke 20:38

LET IT GLOW

There were seven brothers which died childless and were married to the same
woman. When she died, whose wife was she in the resurrection? A Sadducee
asked Jesus that question. He answered that there was neither marrying nor
given in marriage in the resurrection. (verse 35)

As believers, our souls will live with God, so He is the God of the living, which
are dead in bodily form.
I should live like He is the God of the living.

LET IT GROW

The chief priests and scribes sent spies to watch Jesus so they might deliver Him
unto the power and authority of the  governor. In trying to trap Jesus, they asked
Him,"Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no?"

Of course, Jesus knew what was going on. He answered,"Render therefore unto
Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's."
(verse 25) The group marvelled at His answer and held their peace.

I should do as Jesus said-give God what belongs to Him and give our government
what belongs to it.

LET IT GO

Enjoy my marriage here on earth.
Tithe to God and pay my taxes, both faithfully and honestly.
