Proverbs 3-Part 2
Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth wisdom. Proverbs 3:13
LET IT GLOW
When wisdom is found, happiness is the result. What are some life lessons for us to learn here?
Divine wisdom yields the richest treasures described in verses 14-18:
- The wise man's condition is far superior to the one who finds silver, gold, precious rubies, or anything desired-profits;
- life-length of days, eternal life, and meaning in life;
- riches;
- honor;
- pleasantness;
- peace;
- happiness.
Happy is the man who findeth Christ-He is wisdom for us in our day. (McGee)
So Jesus and His Word are the key that opens the door to a room full of treasure of spiritual things.

LET IT GROW
There have been several times that we have seen our neighbor's cows out of their field, into the road. We grab a big stick and herd them back inside their fence. That is an example of verse 27:
Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
Even something as simple as opening the door for one who has been hateful to you can fulfill this verse.
Being a good neighbor everywhere we go is showing the love of Jesus out in the world. Everyone needs a loving hand sometime.
So that is our challenge today-give good, give love away, do good deeds.
LET IT GO
Seek wisdom in the Word and Jesus for abundant life.
Open my eyes to see ways I can do good in my world.
