Luke 12-Part 9 

LET IT GLOW

Here are some things Jesus taught and said which are pertinent to today:

• Belief in Jesus Christ as Savior and Messiah and the Truth often brings division in a household. 
• The ignorance of the Jews put Christ to death. (Acts 3:17) Yet, it brought everlasting life in heaven to so many people.
• People need to make their peace with God before it is too late. 
• Repentance and faith in Christ brings peace in the heart. 

LET IT GROW

Jesus used illustrations in order to get His points across:

• Families will be divided because of unbelievers in Jesus as the Messiah and only way to heaven by faith in Him. They will not repent, admitting they are sinners. (verses 51-54)
• People predict weather is predicted by western clouds seen means rain and southern winds mean heat. (verses 54-55)
• However, the people could not see what was right in front of them-The Messiah.
• Law breakers are sent before a judge and ultimately prison, thus they cannot pay fines owed. When people are in hell, they can never pay for their sins. Jesus was sent to do so, yet they would not believe in the Savior's provision.

Are we sharing these things with unbelievers?
