Luke 13-Part 6 

LET IT GLOW

 Do your values match those of the Bible? That is the important thing. Jesus was on His way to Jerusalem to die. Some Pharisees were either threatening Him or warning Jesus  of what would happen to Him. Jesus already knew it. That was His purpose in coming to earth. 

We understand Jesus' love and concern for Jerusalem. He wept over His beloved city. His heart ached over the Jews who would not repent of sin and believe in Jesus as the Messiah. He would have gathered His people like a hen gathers its chicks when danger is near. Jesus longed to protect Jerusalem as well. But they would not come. 

LET IT GROW

Jesus had a mission to fulfill and a schedule to meet, and neither Herod nor the Pharisees could thwart Him. Jerusalem would not see Jesus again until His return to reign as King in His kingdom when believing Jews call out, Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! (Tony Evans)

What a day that will be! Believers from all over the world will be gathered to worship and serve King Jesus!

We gather in Your name, King Jesus, to worship You, the author and finisher of our faith.

We serve a Risen Savior today!

We sing of Your love and glory!

You alone are worth of worship and praise!
