Luke 13-Part 3

LET IT GLOW

It took the medical people 40 years to figure out I had Chrones disease. I had prayed for years. It was a nurse practitioner who found the right medication for my body, which actually isn't known for helping my condition.  Now I rejoice that my body is not plagued by diarrhea all the time. Glory to God in the Highest! 

Luke changed the setting to a different time and place where Jesus encountered a woman who had been bent over and suffering for 18 years due to Satan. It compromised her condition. Just imagine being bent over and only seeing the feet of people, not their faces.  She couldn't straighten herself up. (verses 11-17) 

Jesus was teaching in the synagogue at the time of this encounter. He healed her body and delivered her from the demon on the Sabbath. Immediately the woman straightened up and glorified God. (verse 13) The ruler of the synagogue confronted Jesus, accusing Him of working on the Sabbath. (Did the man not consider it working whenever he led his ox or donkey to water?

LET IT GROW

Where is the compassion? Jesus showed compassion when He healed the desperate woman.

Jesus' adversaries were ashamed. All the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by Him. (verse 17)

What a Savior! He is so good and kind, so compassionate to us sinners. 

LET IT GO

Oh what a Savior! Isn't He wonderful!
