LET IT GLOW

 We must watch for Jesus, work diligently, and obey His commands. Watchful and faithful leaders will be given increased opportunities and responsibilities. (Life Application Study Bible)

It is hard when folks make fun of you being different, whether it is how you dress, things you don't participate in, and beliefs. Jesus warns us about it.

Jesus was talking about the future events in verses 49-50. Jesus' earthly ministry and purpose for coming included His crucifixion, burial, resurrection, commission, and ascension. 

One day this earth will burn up and there will be a new heaven and new earth. (Rev. 21:1; 2 Peter 3) When that occurs, there will be no more sin and evil. Period. Can we imagine that? 

In the meantime, Jesus had to contend with sinful humans. He was under such a heavy burden knowing His suffering was just around the corner.

Are our family members ready?

LET IT GROW

Jesus is the ultimate divider in relationships of family members-believers versus unbelievers. He didn't come to bring peace, but salvation. Faith in Christ and divine truth will divide folks. The lost will refuse to admit they are sinners in need of a Savior. 

You need to understand, you will be misunderstood. This is what Swindoll tells new believers.

Keep us faithful to You, Lord Jesus.

Help us to love the unlovely.
