Ezekiel 38-Part 2

LET IT GLOW

Are you ready to quit or give in to pressures or temptations in your life? Dear one, don't quit; don't give in; be an overcomer in Jesus. You can do it when you let Jesus do it.

Last night we watched the end of the movie Overcomer. A young teenage girl overcame many obstacles in her life, and won the race. This morning I am listening to the theme song with the same title.  

In Psalm 55, we read words from David:

As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me. Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and He shall hear my voice. He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.  (verse 16-18)

Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and He shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. (verse 22)

... but I will trust in Thee. (verse 23c)

King David knew what was going on around him-his son Absalom sought to kill him so he could become king of Israel, Ahithophel, David's counselor, sided with his son, and others were traitors.  What did David do? He prayed 3 times a day. The God in heaven, who was still on His throne and in control, answered David's prayers. He trusted God through it all.

Friends, Jesus is always with us. He is only a prayer away. Trust Him today with your problem.

LET IT GROW

Previously, we read how God is going to bring victory for Israel over Gog and Magog. If you missed it, check it out.

Leading up to the Tribulation, Israel will or has experienced:

1. She will be scattered among the nations without a home of her own.
2. By a mandate of the United Nations in 1948, Israel was given a home in the land west of the Jordan River.
3. Many, but not all, Jews have returned to the land while still in unbelief of Jesus as the Messiah.
4. After the rapture of the Church, the prince or Beast, will make a covenant with Israel for 7 years to give them security. (Daniel 9:27)
5. The prince will break his covenant after 3 1/2 years. (Daniel 9:26)
6. Israel will loose her religious liberties. (Matt. 24:15-16; Rev.13:1-8)
7. The false prince will impose himself as deity upon the world, including Israel. (2Thess.2:4)

The Antichrist will establish his kingdom on earth. Satan has always desired that he, instead of God and Jesus, be worshiped. Satan used Hitler to try to destroy the Jews and Christians. However, a snowstorm kept him from conquering Russia and America pushed them back on the western front. Eventually, Germany was stopped with allies joining America in WWII. This is only an example of how it will be when it is time for the Antichrist to take control. We don't have to experience this cruelty in the future.

Are we ready for the Rapture when Jesus takes His church and believers out of this cruel world? Are you going to be part of this group? Believers in Jesus must have their ticket issued by Jesus Christ, who purchased it for us. Are you ready for your trip to heaven? Will your loved ones go with you?

You are good, merciful, and faithful, Heavenly Father.

May we praise You, God, through all our trials and tribulations.

Help us be overcomers, Jesus.
