Are You Loaded with Benefits Today?

Ezekiel 45-Part 2

LET IT GLOW

Now who wouldn't desire to be loaded with the benefits God has for them? We come to Him with empty hands held out and lifted up heavenward as we praise our God.

Psalm 68:19 reads, Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation.

So here are some meanings of words in that verse:

Blessed means to kneel: to bless God (as an act of adoration); praise; thank; salute.

Loadeth refers to lay on.

Benefits refers to put; good; deed; grace.

Is He the God of your salvation? Has God laid on you some good things and grace today? If so, then we should bless the Lord with praise, giving thanks, kneeling before Him in adoration and worship.

I try to remember to daily thank God for my breath of life He has given to me, for keeping my heart beating, keeping me alive, and for salvation through Jesus Christ. Such grace He gives to us. Yes indeed, He has loaded me down with benefits.

LET IT GROW

We pick up the vision of Ezekiel for the Millennial reign of Christ in verse 7. The prince, which could be David made alive, will be given two sections of land for his own-eastern and western part of the city allotted to him.

NLT version says the New Jerusalem will be 8 1/3 miles long and 1 2/3 miles wide (which would be almost 14 square miles). Also, the Temple area will be 765,625 square feet for the holy area.

Then, rules that God gave for the other princes (verses 8-14):

  • No longer oppress and rob God's people.
  • They will assign the rest of the land to the people, giving an allotment to each tribe.
  • Do what is just and right.
  • Stop cheating Israelites out of their land.
  • Stop expelling them from their homes.
  • Use honest weights and scales and honest measures, both dry and liquid. (details are given for what each measures.)

As children of God, we are to be honest in our business dealings, not cheating nor taking advantage of people. One thing that we hold up in our tire shop is integrity. We do not tell customers their car needs something done when it actually doesn't. Honesty is the best policy. How about you?

LET IT GO

He is Good God Almighty, El Shaddai.

Let us praise Him for the top of our lungs.

Jesus in the morning, Jesus in the noon time, Jesus when the sun goes down.
