Happy Valentines Day, everyone!
I thought today should be a little different, so if you wish to leave a comment today for others, feel free to do so.
Hear are a few Scriptures that deal with love.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 says, Love is:
- patient,
- kind,
- not jealous,
- does not brag,
- is not arrogant,
- does not act unbecomingly,
- does not seek its own,
- is not provoked,
- does not take into account a wrong suffered,
- does not rejoice in unrighteousness,
- rejoices with the truth,
- bears all things,
- believes all things,
- hopes all things,
- endures all things,
- never fails.
Whew! What a list. Which ones do I need to work on so my love is........?
"All things" means everything is included. Love has no limits. Christlike love leaves no doubt in the mind of another that you will continue to love steadfastly. You never loose hope in the ones you love. You practice the same unconditional love toward others that Christ gives to you. (Blackaby)
