Merry Christmas to all!
I just wanted to thank you folks for being with me on this road of faith as we study God's Word together.
Mark doesn't begin with the genealogy of Jesus like Matthew and Luke. He jumps right into the ministry of Jesus.
What a plan for the Son of God provide our salvation-humbled Himself to come to earth being born in a manger, took on the form of a human, enduring all the ridicule, beatings, and the pain of nails on a cross. If that isn't love come down, I don't know what is. The wonder of it all.
Dear one, we owe everything to our God. He has given us breath of life and beat of our heart, salvation so we can spend eternity with Him in heaven. We should be shouting like the angels who sang to the shepherds: Glory to God in the Highest!
So I wish you peace, love, joy, patience, goodness, gentleness, faith today as you do about your day in celebration. We will continue Mark 15 tomorrow.
In Christ,
Linda
