Daniel 12-Part 3

LET IT GLOW

Can you imagine what excitement went through this prophet when he understood that after the horrible reign of the evil Antichrist, Satan, and the false prophet are cast into the lake of fire?            (Rev. 19:11) And no one shall help them. (Dan. 11:45) We consider all the terrible killings of the Jews by Hitler was beyond words, but this time will be even worst.

In verse 6, we read where an angel asked the Lord, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?

The Lord replied, for a time, times, and a half. This refers to the last half of the Tribulation, which totals 7 years. (Jesus spoke this under oath, standing on the water of the river and raising both hands to heaven, so it is certain.)

... and when He shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. (verse 7)

The end of the evil ones will certainly be for a certain time. It will be finished. Jesus said on the cross, It is finished. He had accomplished what God had planned, and had fulfilled the sacrifice for sinners like you and me.

Beloved, sin must be paid for and Jesus Christ took our place to pay for our sins. Glory to Jesus! We praise You, O Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world!

Is Jesus your Savior? Have you asked Him to forgive your sins and reign in your heart? Now is the time, if you have not yet done so. One day your life will be finished. Where will you spend eternity?

LET IT GLOW

Daniel did not have the prophecy of Zechariah, nor the New Testament to better understand all of this. The literal kingdom on earth will establish Jesus Christ as King and His people will reign with Him for a thousand years. A new government will be established as saints serve the Savior and worship Him.

We must wait for this time with faith and patience. It can happen in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, a blink.

LET IT GO

Hold onto Jesus, for He is holding onto us.

Help us to wait, Lord, for the best is yet to come.
