Great and Mighty Things

Jeremiah 33

LET IT GLOW

Is God rejoicing over us seeing our faith grow, and obedience flowing? Are we faithfully serving Him where He has planted us?  Do others know we are Christians? Jesus gave His whole heart and soul to provide salvation for us as a gift.

While Jeremiah was still in prison, God spoke to him again. No bars  or locks can confine Him. (Paul's sweetest epistles came when he was imprisoned.)

Who brings relief to the captives?

*The LORD (Jehovah, Self-Existent or Eternal), the first mention is found in Genesis 2:4; LORD is used 20 times in this chapter. How important is it?                                                                                *The Maker (use, fulfill, provide) who formed and established heaven and earth.

*The God of Israel;

 *The LORD of Hosts;

*The Branch of Righteousness.

LET IT GROW

Call unto Me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which  thou knowest not. (verse 3)

When we call on God, He will answer us. It may be yes, no, wait. He is willing to show us great (noble, high, exceeding, much) and mighty (abundant, plenteous, exceedingly) things.

It is one thing to believe God could perform a miracle in the Bible, or a thousand years ago, or even in the life of a friend; it is quite another matter to wholeheartedly believe God can do anything He chooses to do in our lives! Ask God what far more things He wants to do through our life. Be prepared to respond in faith and obedience to what He tells you. (Blackaby)

Then watch Him do it.

LET IT GO

Nothing is too hard or difficult for You, my God.

You are amazing and awesome, Jesus!
