Proverbs
Alright folks, this is our last lesson on Proverbs.
It is your turn for class participation.
Look back over all 31 chapters and pick out a couple
of your scriptures that are your favorites or meaningful
to you.
I will share mine:
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. (3:5-6)
A soft answer turners away wrath: but grevious words stir up anger. (15:1)
Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established. (16:3)
A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. (17:17)
Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart
from it. (22:6)
For their Redeemer is mighty; he shall plead their cause with thee. (23:11)
Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that fearethr the LORD, she shall be praised. (31:30)
