LET IT GLOW 

What is the secret of obtaining eternal life in heaven? Believing in Jesus Christ, for He is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes unto the Father except through Him (Jesus). (John14:6) No one can approach God the Father except through Christ. Have you come to Jesus, asked His forgiveness of your sins, and to be your Savior?

Search the Scriptures: for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of Me. (verse 39)

The Jews were constantly searching the Scriptures since they knew the secret to eternal life was found within them. Although, they missed the very key-Jesus Christ. 

Dear one, do not miss out on spending eternity in heaven. Believe Jesus is God's Son, the Messiah, the only way to heaven. Trust in Him today.

LET IT GROW 

What witnesses did Jesus have to validify His claim to be the Son of God?

• John the Baptist bore witness of the truth. He was a burning and shining light for Christ. (verses 33-35)
• The works of Jesus, His miracles gave evidence to His deity. Truly, the Father sent Jesus into the world. (verse 36)
• The Father sent Jesus on a divine mission. (verse 37) His voice was heard at Jesus' baptism.
• The Scriptures pointed to Christ Jesus. (Liberty Bible Commentary)

Jesus revealed that the Jewish leaders did not believe in Him as the Messiah, would not come to Him for salvation, and had not the love of God in them. Because of their hard hears they rejected Jesus. Moses had warned them of false prophets coming, not sent from God. (Deut. 18:15-22)

Had the Jews accepted Moses/ writings, then they would have accepted Jesus' Words. (verses 44-47)

LET IT GO 

Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for He is our God and we are the people of His pasture, the flock under His care. (Psalm 95:6-7)

Thank You Father for sending Jesus to die in our place as punishment for our sins!
