Ezekiel 45

LET IT GLOW

Are you lonely? Are you a prisoner of your own doing? Are you in need? Read on friend.

In the NLT version, Psalm 68 has some outstanding verses:

Sing praises to God and to His name! Sing loud praises to Him who rides the clouds. His name is the LORD-rejoice in His presence! (verse 4)

But let the godly rejoice. Let them be glad in God's presence. Let them be filled with joy. (verse 3)

Isn't there always something to be rejoice about, to be glad and joyful over? Mostly, we should rejoice over Jesus, the one who rides the clouds.

God places the lonely in families; He sets the prisoners free and gives them joy. (verse 6)

There your people finally settled, and with a bountiful harvest, O God, You provide for your needy people. (verse 10)

Isn't there always something to be rejoice about, to be glad and joyful over? Shouldn't we thank the One who bountifully supplies our needs?

LET IT GROW

We are learning about the logistics of the New Temple during the Millennial reign of Jesus Christ as King in Israel and the world.

According to the Wiersbe Bible Commentary, the land (8.3 miles square, equals 55 square miles) will be divided into 3 sections:

  1. The Lord's portion, top section, will be the sacred area for the Temple and the priests.
  2. The center area will be the same size as the top area and will belong to the Levites.
  3. The bottom area (1.75 miles wide) will be assigned to "the city" and the free land around it. It is probably Jerusalem with a new name Jehovah Shammah-The Lord is There.(48:35)

Do we need a reminder that the Lord is there with us today? Jesus, You are our one defense, our righteousness, grace and mercy, our hope and stay. We need Thee every hour. How we need You today living in us and in our world.

LET IT GO

You make all things new.

You set us free from the penalty of sin.

You give us love, lavishly.

I have been set free, a child of the One True King-Jesus.

Blessed be the name of the Lord Jesus!
