N.T.#823 "Church is Important"
June 25, 2026
Acts 2-Part 4
LET IT GLOW
Salvation is not dependent on baptism. (1 Cor. 1:17) We repent of our sins, ask Jesus to forgive us first.
We read of Peter's sermon and 3,000 were added to the church that were saved.
What happened next as the church age began?
- The people continued stedfastly in the apostle's doctrine/teachings.
- They continued in fellowship with believers.
- They shared meals in homes with gladness and singleness of heart.
- They prayed together.
- Som sold their possessions and gave to those believers in need.
- They continued daily with one accord in the Temple. (verses 42-47)
LET IT GROW
Friend, are you a member of a Bible teaching church? Believers need fellowship with other believers. We grow spiritually and impact the kingdom work.
We are told to:
- love one another (John15:12)
- carry one another's burdens (Gal. 6:2)
- forgive one another (Eph. 4:32)
- encourage one another (1 Thess. 5:11).
A disconnected Christian is a disobedient and unfruitful Christian. Each of us is an integral part of the body of Christ. Such public love, devotion, joy, ministry, and testimony convinced unbelievers to trust in Jesus Christ. (Tony Evans)
I hope you see how important it is to have a church family.
LET IT GO
Let go of excuses.
