N.T.#699 "Where Are You Spending Eternity?"
Dec. 22, 2025
John 3-Part 3
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (verse 16)
LET IT GLOW
When we are you, we may not think about dying. It's when we age that we have more yesterdays than tomorrows. Where will you spend eternity after you die? You can spend it in heaven. continue to find out how.
Did you memorize John 3:16 as a child? This is the Gospel in a nutshell. The love of God is shown in action:
- The source of love-God;
- The extent of love-the world;
- The sacrifice of love-He gave His only begotten son;
- The results of love-whosoever believeth in Him should not perish. (Liberty Bible Commentary)
Everlasting in the Greek language means eternal; for ever.
Human hearts are the same the world over-in rebellion against God, suffering from the disease of sin, and dying... until they discover the simple (and profound) truth of God's love for us in Jesus Christ. (Billy Graham)
When you trust in Jesus alone as your personal sin-bearer, divine judgment is removed and eternal life is freely given. (Tony Evans)
LET IT GROW
Do you want everlasting life? Believe in Jesus and trust in Jesus as your Savior. Plan and simple. We all will live forever, our soul will continue on. The thing is, where will it spend eternity-heaven or hell?
All you have to do is believe in Jesus, not your works or merits.
Believeth means to have faith (with respect to a person or thing); credit; to entrust (one's spiritual well-being to Christ); put trust in.
We all sin. The penalty of sin is death-spiritually. Jesus came, lived a sinless life, died in our place to be our penalty for our sins. Dear one, reach out and trust Him today.
This is a good time for us to ask our loved ones where they are spending eternity. God's free gift is living forever in heaven with Jesus and other believers. Will I see you there?
LET IT GO
In Christ alone my hope is found. And I will glory in the power of the cross. In every victory, let it be said of me-my source os strength is in Christ alone.
Thank You Jesus for dying for me a sinner.
